Learn to Crochet or Knit - April 10 to May 1 class OR Drop in.
This is a yarn intensive.
Join us privately or with a small group.
Join us to learn the basic skills of Crocheting or Knitting.
You will also learn tips for reading patterns, abbreviations, hook sizes, and yarn weights.
We recommend blocks of four classes so you have time to practice.
1st class you will learn to make a slip knot, chain stitch, single crochet and slip stitch.
2nd class you will learn magic ring, half double and double crochet and treble stitches while still using the stitches from the first class.
3rd class you will work on easy patterns with combinations of different stitches. Pick your final project, a basic beanie, a toy, a scarf or a cowl.
4th class you will work on finishing up our first project and planning your next one.
OR just book one class to work out problems you might be having or to work through a larger project.
OR join as a drop in to refresh you skills, ask question and get help with challenges. You must have taken a class with us previous unless otherwise advised by Muckabout staff. This is not a class for beginners who have no knitting or crochet skills.
Some supplies included,
borrow a hook, and some practice yarn from the instructor.
In the first class you will be advised on what you need for you future projects, ie. hook size and yarn type.
Instructor will advise you on what you will need for the final projects.
