This is yarn 101. Choose your needle and learn to use it.
Join us to learn the basic skills of knitting or crochet.
You will also learn tips for reading patterns, abbreviations, hook sizes, and yarn weights.
During this workshop, you will be taught the basics of knitting or crocheting, along with lots of tips and tricks for those just starting out! Students will discover a few simple stitches, as well as how to start and end a piece and follow a simple pattern. By the end you will be working on a project that will be completed at home.
Some supplies included,
borrow a hook, and some practice yarn from the instructor.
In the first class you will be advised on what you need for you future projects,ie. hook size and yarn type.
Instructor will advise you on what you will need for the final project.
Ages, 12 to 112.
