Art on the Farm is back for its 12th year.
The free outdoor arts, crafts, music and food festival highlights artisans and musicians in the Columbia Valley this Saturday.
On Aug. 13, local artists will gather to showcase their paintings, wood art, pottery, crocheted art, and cottage home décor. All artists are juried and must hand-make their wares.
The event is interactive and artists will teach people how to make their own glass bead bracelets, sculptures and reclaimed wood art.

You can join into a drum circle or listen to the talented DaleGreen band, Norine Braun and Anton (the Accordion Man). Demonstrations of pottery, glass bead making, and wood turning will be on site, plus the Sardis Library will host a children’s activity area.
Visitors will also find home-baked sweets, and Bombay (veggie) burgers and other tasty treats among the tall cedars in the naturally beautiful Columbia Valley.
Columbia Valley has been the scene for Art on the Farm for more than a decade. For ten years, it was held at a private location lovingly known as Barking Dog Farm.
This is the second year the festival will be held at Columbia Valley Hall. It is primarily an outdoor event, but there is the option for vendors to have their booths indoors if they desire, says event organizer Minda Chittenden.
Art on the Farm runs Saturday, Aug. 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Columbia Valley Hall. The hall is located at 1202 Kosikar Rd.
